I came in today, on one of the few Saturdays I have off, and found this. Amy J. has the job of keeping the mannequins dressed and she amazed me today with this creative display. You are actually viewing the back of her "dress" made from vintage gloves and old crochet.
Another creative and very simple display idea ... made by Debi ... a candle holder made from an old spool of string surround by an old BED SPRING. LOVE IT!!!

Ok, I am lovin the manni with the gloves, so cleaver. I've had so many gloves and didn't know what to do with them. She really thinks outside the box. I need her to come and help me in Warrenton; you think I could hire her for a few hours?
ReplyDeleteYour shop is constantly filled with amazing wonders, but the atmosphere and people are the most unique part. In addition, it is hard to maintain a consistent enchanting environment when furniture is always being sold and displays must change on a daily basis; however, your entire staff does an excellent job at this task. I love to shop inside of a store that tells a story and presents each piece of merchandise as part of a home. Thank you for your artistic creativity, I look forward to returning soon.
ReplyDeleteThat "dress" is amazing. Fabulously creative displays!
ReplyDeleteOh I just found you thanks to Sweet Pea's Blog. I live south of the DFW area & did not know about you. But, you can bet that will change. I'll be popping in to see you.
ReplyDeleteVery Swanky and I love it!!! Blessings, Janna
