A Rare Opportunity is Available here at Bloom & Bee Swanky. Help is needed for full time sales manager. Some Weekends are a must! A few times a year for special sales and events, late evenings may be required.

Your number one job is helping to maximize the store’s profit while minimizing costs. Retail Experience and customer service skills are minimum requirements. Computer Literacy is a must, NO Exceptions. You need to be able to take and format digital photographs. You must be able to excel at Internet researching! Experience is necessary with cash registers and POS systems.

Daily Tasks will include scheduling, managing the other employees to increase sales and increase efficiency, maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times, getting to know customers by name and maintaining customer database, keeping the store always displayed properly when items sell, protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment, checking in orders and maintaining inventory stock levels, purchasing items from walk-ins, taking phone messages, opening and closing store, balancing drawer, preparing deposits and basically being the liaison to the owner in any and all aspects by providing daily reports.

Of course there will be the occasional shop duties when other sale associates cannot be present or when other duties are complete. They include, but are not limited to sweeping/vacuuming, window washing, watering plants, changing light bulbs, cleaning restrooms, trash, painting and other things that a store just simply needs to operate. Also, the position will require the ability to occasionally climb ladders as well as assist in moving and rearrange heavy furniture within the store.

Another continuous duty, will be helping the owner to stay organized. She is very busy with multiple projects and appointments and needs help keeping the checkout area and storage areas neat and organized. This task will fall all on you to find creative ways to do this.

If you like to write, and are good at it, this position could fit you nicely. Experience writing press releases will be very helpful. If you are creative and have graphic design experience, this could be great opportunity for you as well. This position allows the right person to design and develop blog entries, newsletters, and brochures, print ads, in-store signage, postcards, and more ensuring that standards are observed with all marketing materials. Initiating and maintaining a complete and accurate database will be a continuous duty as well as packaging and shipping of Internet orders.

This position requires someone who truly enjoys a creative environment, varied duties and is a self-starter. This position requires confidence, tact, the ability to handle multi-tasking, following up projects, phone calls and customer’s requests are essential. You must be a quick learner and a SMILER which means you should be Happy! This position will require you to have daily interaction with customers. This will require a neat and orderly appearance as well as a pleasant disposition and attitude.
